Chinese Ansteel reported its financial report for the first half of 2012 on August 27th.
In the first half of 2012, Ansteel realized sales revenues of RMB39.378 billon, decreasing by 15.01% in comparison of RMB4.6334 billion in the same period of 2011.
In the given period time, the company's net loss contributes to shareholders amounted to RMB1.976 billion, slumping by 998.18% from net profits of RMB220 million in the first half of a year earlier.
Meanwhile, the sales revenues came from its hot rolled steel plates increased slightly by 1.1% to RMB13.701 billion; that from cold rolled steel sheets dropped by 21.41% to RMB15.02 billion, both compared to that in the same period of a year earlier.
